Italian language tutoring is offered every semester by the LdM School to aid students in their language skills.  Please contact the Marist-意大利 office for the most up-to-date schedule of the lab. 

At Marist-意大利, approximately 150 dedicated and qualified professors from 意大利 and all over the world teach over 400 different courses. While the majority of the faculty is of Italian nationality, the international flavor of the Institute is reflected in the appointment of instructors representing a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Learn more about our faculty >>

Despite the limited space of traditional European institutions, the Marist-意大利 library holds many significant volumes that have been hand-selected by the faculty to augment the classroom experience.

In addition to the library holdings on-site in Florence, all students enrolled in Marist-意大利 programs are granted access to 圣母学院的James A. Cannavino图书馆. Each student is provided with a user account that will allow you access to the Marist Global Online 图书馆, 可用的24/7. Most helpful to students attempting a research project is the Fox Hunt search feature, a meta-search that cuts across many databases in a discipline. Fox Hunt will lead you to scholarly articles in a wide range of peer-reviewed 期刊, 超过20,000册数字全文图书, 网上参考资料, the latest news in your area of study and Google results as well.

Marist offers two options to help students with writing support:

的Marist-意大利 写作中心 - Located in the Marist-意大利 Admistrative office at Via del Giglio 6 provides free writing support for all students – from first-year students to graduate students – taking courses at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici. Whether you are at the beginning stages of a written assignment and trying to find a focus or you are completing a major research paper and need help with documentation, 写作中心可以帮助你. While setting up an appointment 24 hours in advance is strongly encouraged, depending on availability and assistance needed walks-in are accepted.  Please contact the Marist-意大利 office for the most current Marist-意大利 writing center hours.

Online tutors are available in Eastern Standard Time: 

  • Mondays: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon; 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tuesdays: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM; 9 pm - 10pm

  • Fridays: 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM; 12:00 Noon - 4:00 PM

Marist-意大利 offers proofreading to all students through the bet亚洲365欢迎投注 Academic Learning Center.   Trained Proofreader will be ready and waiting to proofread a student's paper for grammar and clarity.  Proofreading services are provided by the Academic Learning Center through the Marist-意大利 Current Student Intranet site.  Students can upload any paper under 10 pages to the site for review. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis.  An appointment is needed for papers that are 10 or more pages in length. Please contact Kammi DiCorsia in Academic Learning Center directly to make an appointment: +1.845.575.3300 or 凯瑟琳.DiCorcia@phytomarin.com. 

Alumni Relations and the Center for Career Services present the 校友职业网络. The Network contains hundreds of names of individuals who are willing to be contacted by fellow alumni and current students about career choices and paths. You can search the Network by occupation type, business title, business name or name of a person. By entering the year of graduation or location you will narrow your search.
